FLOS TABLE LAMP IC LIGHTS

A beautiful pearl of light that miraculously manages to keep itself balanced; this is the central theme of the Flos IC Lights collection. This concept is inspired by contact juggling, a discipline that involves a variety of contact passes with one or more acrylic balls. The meeting between a luminous ball and a rigid rod made of brass or chrome alloy gives the whole a very elegant look.

Where does the name of this collection come from?
The name IC Lights might sound a bit strange. However, the explanation for this choice is quite logical. British police use the initials IC to indicate people's ethnicity. The codes IC1, IC2 and IC3 are respectively assigned to white people from Northern Europe, white people from Southern Europe and people of African origin. Designer Michael Anastassiades thought it would be fun to show the gap between the different designs in this way.
