Duo combines both durability and airy design and is characterized by its clear lines. Duo is the product of traditional craftsmanship and careful metal processing. Duo convinces with the transparent appearance - the complete frame is visible. The rocking chair consists of two curved steel frames that are connected to each other in the upper back area. Here the impression is given that only the wrapped rope holds both parts together.

The first rocking chair can be dated into the time of the "Pilgrim Fathers", which was located in Massachusetts from 1620. The “Shaker” swing chair from this time is considered the original type of the piece of furniture. Even John F. Kennedy preferred to receive his guests in the White House in front of the fireplace in his rocking chair. Manutti has redesigned this and offers you a nice opportunity to relax, rest or for a little break in the outdoor area with the duo swing chair.

The ultra -light rocking chair accompanies you comfortably to every place in your terrace. There is also the possibility of replacing the seat with this chair.

The duo rocking chair can be used without a pillow or optionally equipped with a seat cushion.

We recommend the pillows in the following color combinations for the combination of lava/teak/anthracite. Simply hold it or set a colored accent with your seat cushion.

By using aluminum, the stool frame is not only particularly durable, but also extremely filigree. Each chair is handed in hand with the rope, which consists of textile® and polyolefin, UV-resistant, as well as chlorine and salt water resistant. The modern colors fit into every garden landscape - from the house by the sea to the puristic roof terrace and create a natural timeless flair.

Optimal use and maintenance

All furniture in the Duo collection is extremely easy to maintain thanks to its coated aluminum frame and wooden seat and is also suitable for use in harsh, salty climates such as by the sea or by the swimming pool. You can also optionally order protective covers for your Manutti furniture. These are polyurethane coated and have welded seams to protect against water penetration. They are mold and fungus resistant and breathable at the same time. They keep all furniture dry and protect against stains (for all Manutti furniture, except for wooden furniture).

Just like other types of wood, teak becomes rougher and grayer over time when exposed to sun and rain. This can cause small cracks. We recommend treating the piece of furniture with a wood oil - the oil regulates the level of moisture in the wood, which means the surface remains stable for longer. The thin layer of oil also limits the absorption of liquids, so stains remain superficial. It is best to repeat the treatment regularly.

Cleaning and maintenance

For the ropes and the frame: Dirt can be carefully removed with warm water and a light soapy solution.

For the cushions: The covers can be washed at 30°C - use a liquid detergent without fabric softener. Detailed washing instructions are always included in the packaging of the cushions. Please do not iron.
