Optimal use and maintenance

All furniture in the Latona collection is extremely easy to maintain thanks to its frame made of coated aluminum and the backrests and seat made of Batyline fabric and is also suitable for use in harsh, salty climates such as by the sea or by the swimming pool.

Batyline is a textile braid that, like Textilene, is used in conjunction with aluminum furniture. The fabric is very thin and therefore appears light and modern. Batyline is at the same time very robust, suitable for outdoor use and is characterized by its high tear resistance and dimensional stability. The special thing about the material is that it is very ecological and sustainable. The fabric is 100% recyclable thanks to a specially developed process. The recyclability of Batyline avoids unnecessary waste and conserves resources.

Batyline is a very easy-care material - water or a light soapy water is often enough to wash off dirt. Despite its quick-drying properties, you should make sure not to place furniture with the covering under a protective cover until the textile is completely dry. Otherwise the moisture cannot escape.

Cleaning and maintenance

For the fabric and the frame: Dirt can be carefully removed with warm water and a light soapy solution. Additionally use the “Woven & Textiles Cleaner” from Manutti.
