BROKIS LAMP BONBORI

The Bonbori collection, created by world-famous Japanese designer Fumie Shibata, is available for both indoor and outdoor use. The luminaire is inspired by the traditional paper lanterns that line the paths to shrines and temples during the annual rice harvest festivals in Japan. In Japanese, the word bonbori refers not only to this traditional form of lighting, but also to the soft light that comes from a snowy cave.

The new luminaire consists of a simple stainless steel base with an environmentally friendly powder coating. The easily removable LED light source casts a soft light through a diffuser and laser-cut openings in the stainless steel. The resemblance to the traditional Bonbori lamp is achieved through an elegant, hand-blown glass shade, an exceptional piece made from several layers of carefully shaped glass.

The soft light of Bonbori pays homage to a traditional Japanese lantern. The artfully crafted, hand-blown glass and soft luminescence create a magical and festive ambience that can be enjoyed alone or with family and friends. The new indoor lantern is equipped with special plugs developed by Brokis that make it easy to unplug and bring it into a covered outdoor area, for example.

The Bonbori lamp is supplied with a black cable as standard. On request, we can also equip the lamp with a white cable. Please state your preference when ordering.
