EXPO TIMOTHY OULTON AVIATOR TOMCAT CHAIR

The Aviator Tomcat chair is inspired by military aviation history, in particular the twin cockpit seats of the F-14 Tomcat, used by the US Navy in the 1970s for some of its most successful missions. The aerodynamic curves of the chair are wrapped in riveted aluminum inspired by the British Supermarine Spitfire from World War II, which undergoes a five-step process to refine the metal and create the unique Spitfire finish. The seat and backrest are covered in ribbed leather that has been hand-finished to mimic the worn softness of an old bomber jacket. Please note that the Spitfire finish has surface variations that may vary from piece to piece.
