The company was founded with the goal of preserving the historic Lloyd Loom technique and carrying it forward in a contemporary way. Lloyd Loom was originally developed in the early 20th century. In this technique, kraft paper is wrapped around a fine metal wire and then woven into long strips, much like a textile. The indoor collection combines natural materials and soft textures with a clean, contemporary design language. Outdoor Lloyd Loom furniture is treated with a special coating that makes the material more resistant to sun and moisture.
