The TAO garden table combines opposites with precision. A sculptural central base supports a finely crafted, oval table top. The result is a calm, balanced form with a clear presence. Designed by Monica Armani.

Material & processing

Lightweight concrete, refined by hand. The surface appears fine and silky smooth. Due to the manufacturing process, small pores may be visible and emphasize the character of the material.

Dimensions & variants

Available in an oval shape with a central base. Two surfaces: Linen and wengé.

Care

Delicate surface. Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Protection against heavy soiling recommended.

Optimal use and maintenance

All furniture in the Tao collection is extremely easy to maintain thanks to its lightweight concrete frame and is also suitable for use in harsh, salty climates such as by the sea or swimming pool. If you want to move the table, we ask you to do so with at least 3 people, otherwise there is a risk of cracks.

Although lightweight and with low porosity, lightweight concrete is a natural product that is sensitive to stains. The tables are treated ex works with a concrete conditioner that reduces stains and moisture absorption. Handle your natural stone table with care and follow the cleaning instructions below.

You can also order optional protective covers for your Tribù furniture. The gray covers are made of PU-coated polyester and are water-repellent and UV-resistant. Thanks to their excellent breathability, the covers reduce condensation and heat build-up, preventing the formation of mold. Nevertheless, they are not 100% waterproof. Always make sure that furniture, cushions and covers are completely dry before covering furniture.

Cleaning and maintenance

Lightweight concrete: For daily cleaning, dip a soft, clean cloth in soapy water. Rinse the cloth thoroughly and wipe the table again with clean water and leave to dry. Stains should be wiped off immediately, especially acidic substances such as juice, coffee, red wine, dressing, etc., as they can otherwise cause permanent stains. Bird droppings and leaves can also cause permanent stains - remove these as quickly as possible. Always protect your table with a protective cover when not in use. Oil and wax stains can be removed with Tribù's "Oil, Wax and Grease Remover".

Please do not use any corrosive or acidic cleaning agents. We also recommend regular maintenance of the table with Tribù's "Lightened Concrete Conditioner" - this can also remove or lighten stains if they are old, stubborn stains.
