Ethnicraft Furnure Tabwa Block Coffee Table

The Tabwa collection offers timeless blackboard attachments of minimalist silhouette with a unique and distinctive character. Contemporary wooden furniture is transformed into unique works of art, whereby each pattern is carefully carved by our artisans. Named after Tabwa culture from Central Africa, inspires the collection by its preference for linear geometric motifs.

The most common figure in the art of the Tabwa people is the triangle that symbolizes the rebirth and life. The triangle is therefore often used on the richly decorated surface of the block coffee. In order to produce all these small figures, manual skill is required. With chisel and hammer, the shapes are hammered by hand into the surface.

The table top is made of plywood with teak veneer and has a black layer of paint. In combination with the teak, the warm appearance is preserved in the form of a dark brown shine. The base of the table is made of massive oak.
