The Carl Hansen Deck Chair tells a story - just as we know from the Danish label's furniture: In the 1960s , Børge Mogensen simply couldn't find garden furniture for his balcony that was comfortable and practical at the same time and didn't take up too much space. He finally got involved himself and designed the folding and hanging deck chair. Carl Hansen & Søn expanded the Deck Chair in 2020 to include a version with an integrated footstool .
The natural curves of the body form the lines for the wooden frame of the deck chair and thus also for the extremely comfortable seat cover made of weatherproof Sunbrella fabric . So that you can enjoy this piece of furniture for a long time to come, Carl Hansen now makes the Deck Chair from FSC®-certified teak .
At Original Homestories you can also find the Deck Chair in a version without an integrated footstool.

Optimal use and care

Wood :
