Getting the most out of your Ofyr Kamado Table

For optimal use, it is best to follow the manufacturer's instructions from the supplier of your kamado grill and carefully choose where your stove will stand. Some patio coverings are sensitive to the oil drops or splashes that are inevitable when grilling. Others are due to erosion of the Corten steel, whose protective patina develops further under the influence of weathering.

Teak is a natural, durable product - ideally the rolling table should be stored indoors when not in use for an extended period of time

Cleaning and maintenance

The Kamado Table is best cleaned with warm water. Ideally, the wooden panel is first cleaned on all sides with cold water. Then pour in really boiling hot water to kill any germs.

After the boiling water, you can brush antibacterial household remedies such as vinegar, soda or table salt into the wood, leave to act for 15 minutes, rinse and allow to dry thoroughly on all sides so that the wood does not warp to one side. If you rub the board regularly with your Ofyr cooking oil, fewer bacteria and dirt get into the pores and the wood stays more supple. In addition, you can smooth the wooden surface from time to time by roughening it with a brass brush and then sanding it with coarse and fine sandpaper.
