Ofyr extinguishing lid

The OFIR extinguishing lid is made of black -coated steel and equipped with a mahogany run. The extinguishing lids are provided with 6 outfit so that they do not slip when the flame is deleted. Due to its larger material thickness compared to the cover (which should only be placed on the cooled grill), the snuffer deforms little even with the effect of heat, so that they can simply put it on the burning fire.

The optimal use of your extinguishing lid

The right size for your Ofyr is used at the end of every grill round to safely delete the fire. The small knobs give orientation so that the lid stays in the right place. If the grill is then cooled and oiled again, you can cover it with the right lid to the next barbecue round. This goes over the edge, covers the grill aesthetically and protects the Ofyr from rain. However, it is more sensitive to deformations and should not be placed on the hot grill in contrast to the fire cover.

Cleaning and maintenance

The black -coated steel of the extinguishing lid can best be cleaned with warm water and gentle cleaning agents in order not to damage the coating.

It is possible that the lid develops small deformations or rustpoints of damage to the coating due to the large heat when deleting, but this does not detract from its function when the grill fire was deglicted. Small damage in the coating can also be repaired with a black separately available repair lacquer to advance rust.
