This removes the patina so that the grill area has to be burned again! After cleaning with the spatula, wash the grill surface and oil again with a cloth until the next use.

If you care properly, the grill plate should actually not set a rust, but if rust spots are created there, this is no need to worry: Depending on the strength, carefully remove the rust with a pot cleaner or with a metal polier on the drill It is best to reject a slightly warm plate again!
